This Privacy Policy explains how Qin Cloud LLC ("Qin Cloud", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites (including qincloud.app and mmjd.club), mobile applications, browser extensions, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), including our product sub-box ("Subtitle Box").
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to operate and improve the Services:
- Account information — such as your email address, when you sign in to use our products.
- Content you submit — for example video page addresses (URLs) that you open with sub-box, so we can identify the video and provide subtitle matching or AI-generated subtitles.
- Usage data — feature usage, crash logs, device type, OS version, app version, and general diagnostics used to keep the Services stable.
- Communications — messages you send to support@qincloud.app, including any attachments you choose to provide.
- Cookies and similar technologies — our websites may use strictly necessary cookies to keep sessions secure and remember basic preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on qincloud.app.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services (for example, matching or generating subtitles for the videos you request).
- To create and manage your account, and to authenticate you on our apps and extensions.
- To process AI subtitle requests: audio/speech from the relevant video may be processed on our servers for speech recognition and translation, and the resulting subtitle is delivered back to your player.
- To troubleshoot problems, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- To respond to your support requests and other inquiries.
- To protect the Services from abuse, fraud, and security threats.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Protect Information
- Data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
- We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example cloud hosting and AI speech/translation infrastructure), under agreements that require them to protect it.
- Legal authorities, when required by applicable law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided where required.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- You may stop using the Services at any time; uninstalling our app or removing our browser extension ends collection by the client software.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@qincloud.app. We will respond within a reasonable period.
- Residents of certain jurisdictions (including the EEA/UK and California) may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor verified requests as required.
6. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Third-Party Links
Our sites may link to third-party websites or app marketplaces. This policy does not apply to those third parties; please review their privacy policies.
